29 June 2010 DANCE TWINS IN STEP FOR BIGGER AND BETTER THINGS Dance twins in step for bigger and better things

Having won Australia’s Got Talent, Justice Crew members John and Len Pearce of Ryde hope to move on to bigger and better things.
The former TWT Sports Star of the Year finalists have resigned from their jobs at Top Ryde and Meadowbank Aldi stores, Len has finished TAFE, and they now plan to spend the next year touring with the group.
The twins said the Aussie and Kiwi B-boy group of nine dancers had equally divided their $250,000 winnings from the Channel Seven TV show, devoting $50,000 towards promoting the group.
“We have a lot of gigs lined up, but the first thing is getting a manager,” John said.

Prior to taking part in Australia’s Got Talent, the group practised on the street outside the Sydney Entertainment Centre, using their reflection in the glass windows to get dance perfect. They spent most of 2009 “trying to make it big”, and feel as though they are now on the right track.
“If we didn’t go on the show, we would still be on the street practising,” Len said.
They said as well as touring, they will continue to run dance workshops aimed at youth who cannot afford to learn elsewhere - because neither could they.
“We want to show people how to try and have a goal, and if they love dance to go and do it,” John said.
The pair also wished to thank those in the Ryde community who voted for them to win Australia’s Got Talent.
