JULIA'S JOKE
No wonder unelected PM Julia Gillard can’t stop laughing when she talks about Global Warming/ Climate Change / Pollution. She has no answers and must believe it’s a joke.
The “greatest moral and environmental challenge of our time” has been firmly placed on the back burner with the incredulous suggestion of referral to yet another committee of 150 nobodies to think about it for twelve months – and then what?
Report to the government or the parliament?
Surely we have a democratically elected representative committee from all over Australia which is called The House of Representatives (and the Members have the title of Member of House of
Representatives MHR) which is best qualified for that job.
Or aren’t they all hand picked enough to qualify for the task.
Or should we bring back one of those famous (or infamous) 2020 committees of a thousand of the “best brains and beauty” in Australia chosen by the deposed PM Kevin 747?
They must be looking for another gig. And they know their way around the best pubs in Canberra and which troughs to put their noses in.
Come on Julia. By all means move forward but look around you and try and learn the lessons of history and yesterday. Then maybe you can move forward with a real sense of destiny and success.
