Remembrance Day Commemoration Service

November 11 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

The Hunter’s Hill RSL Sub-Branch President Mr Rod Stewart and the Reverend Michael Armstrong invite you to a

Remembrance Day Commemoration Service

11 November, 2017, at 11.00am
at the Hunter’s Hill RSL Sub-Branch Memorial Wall.
We welcome everyone who wants to attend this Remembrance Day Commemoration Service.
As an addition to the Service, our President Rod Stewart will carry out a soil collection from two sites –
1. The grounds of the Hunter’s Hill RSL Sub-Branch.
2. A site around the Woolwich Dock.
The Soil Collection Project forms part of the Anzac Centenary Project, which is the completion of the War Memorial in Hyde Park, Sydney – The Anzac Memorial Extension.
It is a very ambitious project, the vision of artist Fiona Hall; which will see a sample of soil collected from all the places in NSW where the WW1 enlistees came from, for display alongside the location names in the Hall of Service.
